聚氨酯彈性體優異的性能特點：

　　4，澆注型聚氨酯彈性體的硬度變化范圍廣（邵A20-邵D80),在高硬度情況下仍能保持良好的彈性，這是普通塑料等材料很難具備的性能。
　　5，具有優異的力學機械性能。普通天然膠，氯丁膠等的抗張強度一般都低于30Mps，但澆注型聚氨酯彈性體的抗張強度通常均大于40Mps,抗撕裂性能一般都比普通橡膠材料高很多。
　　6，耐油性能優越。聚酯型聚氨酯的耐油性能可與傳統橡膠中耐油性能最好的丁晴橡膠相似，而優于天然，氯丁等普通橡膠。
　　7，耐氧，耐臭氧性能突出。據美國Goodyear公司對某些橡膠材料在100℃下進行160h的吸氧體積測定，天然膠92mL/g;丁苯膠18mL/g;聚氨酯0.64mL/g。
　　8，符合能力高。制備中的沖彈元件，緩沖元件的承載能力高，使用過程中不會出現龜裂，而普通橡膠存在在高承載力的負荷下將會出現龜裂等缺陷。
